Under the guidance of Samaj Seva Bharati Paschimbanga, a 5-day training camp was held for the coordinators of Shishu Sanskar Kendras operating in the tribal and underprivileged regions of Jangalmahal. The camp began on Thursday, 5th October and concluded on Monday, 9th October. The sessions were conducted at Keshav Bhavan (Kolkata RSS Office) and Kudghat Office of Samaj Seva Bharati.
Approximately 50 participants from various districts enthusiastically took part in this residential training program.
🏛️ Visit to Prominent Religious and Cultural Sites of Kolkata
To begin the training with inspiration and cultural awareness, the participating didi-bhais were taken on a guided tour of Kolkata’s notable religious and historical landmarks. This provided them with spiritual motivation and a broader cultural perspective.
👗 Honoring the Didi-Bhais with Garments and Recognition
As a mark of appreciation, the dedicated coordinators of various Shishu Sanskar Kendras were honored with new garments and certificates.
Shri Advaita Charan Dutta, Akhil Bharatiya Sah-Pracharak, and Shri Ramapada Pal, Purva Kshetra Pracharak, guided the didi-bhais with encouraging words and recognized their selfless service.
🩺 Health Awareness & Activity Training
The training program also included sessions on personal health and hygiene. Practical workshops on children’s games and physical exercises were organized, equipping the didi-bhais to enhance the learning and engagement at their centers.
🎯 Interactive Field Games and Team Building
On the grounds, the didi-bhais actively participated in various field games and training activities, fostering teamwork and physical well-being.
🧠 Sharing Experiences with Respected Women Leaders
At Kudghat, the didi-bhais had the opportunity to interact with renowned women leaders of the society. They shared their experiences in teaching and working with backward communities, creating a valuable exchange of ideas and challenges.
🌕 Chandrayaan-3 Presentation by Dr. Saptik Mukherjee
A special presentation on the successful launch of Chandrayaan-3 was conducted by Dr. Saptik Mukherjee. His engaging talk enriched the participants with knowledge about India’s proud space achievement and the scientific spirit behind the mission.
🏘️ Community Engagement & ‘Ananda Sandhya’ Cultural Program
In an effort to connect with the local community, the participants went door-to-door in the Kudghat area, distributing the publication ‘Seba Katha’, thereby strengthening neighborhood bonds.
The training camp concluded with a joyful ‘Ananda Sandhya’ cultural evening, where didi-bhais showcased songs, plays, and performances—reflecting their enthusiasm and creativity.
This enriching 5-day journey witnessed participation from didi-bhais representing almost every district of South Bengal, creating a shared spirit of service and dedication.
